New John's Lake is located 20 miles north of Wilton. This lake along with Heckers Lake, provides many recreational opportunities such as boating, water skiing, fishing and swimming. Weekends see the most activity with campers arriving on Friday evenings and leaving on Sunday. Holidays during the summer are especially busy. One has a hard time finding a place to camp!
