The St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church was built in 1890 in the country northeast of Wilton. The Church was moved to its present site at 300 North 7th Street in 1911 by the Ukrainian families who came to homestead, and also for the miners who worked in the coal mines in the early 1900's. The Ukrainian Catholic Church acknowledges the authority of the Pope of Rome, but it employs the Byzantine rites, while the Roman Church uses the Latin rites.
Services are held on Saturdays with confession at 4:00 PM and Divine Liturgy at 4:30 p.m.
