The North Dakota National Guard will be conducting a training exercise at Memorial Hall on Thursday, August 27, 2026.

During the exercise, residents may see emergency vehicles surrounding Memorial Hall and a helicopter circling the town. Please be aware that there is no actual emergency.

1st Street, between Dakota Avenue and Burleigh Avenue, will be closed for the duration of the exercise.

We ask that everyone give the National Guard plenty of space and avoid parking in front of the Memorial Hall while the training exercise is taking place.
